I'm currently accepting lactation clients through the San Diego Breastfeeding Center
I am now seeing clients at the San Diego Breastfeeding Center, providing individualized, evidence-based lactation care to help families navigate breastfeeding, pumping, bottle feeding, and beyond.
Whether you're preparing for your baby's arrival, working through feeding challenges, or navigating a new stage of your feeding journey, my goal is to help you find realistic, manageable solutions that work for your family.
Lactation consultations aren't just for when you're experiencing challenges. They're also an opportunity to check in, ask questions, and feel confident that feeding is going well.
Whether you're navigating a specific concern or simply looking for reassurance, an appointment can help you better understand your baby's feeding patterns, growth, and changing needs.
Common reasons families schedule a visit include:
Well-Baby Feeding Checks: Review your baby's latch, milk transfer, feeding patterns, and weight gain to make sure things are progressing well.
Peace of Mind: Confirm that your baby is getting enough milk and feeding effectively, even when there are no obvious concerns.
Preventative Support: Identify small feeding concerns before they become bigger challenges.
Feeding Transitions: Get guidance as your baby grows, feeding patterns change, or you prepare to introduce bottles, return to work, or wean.
Personalized Education: Ask questions, learn what to expect next, and receive recommendations tailored to your family.
You don't need to have a feeding problem to benefit from lactation support. Sometimes, a simple check-in and a little reassurance are exactly what you need.
Prenatal Lactation Support: Prepare for breastfeeding before your baby arrives with education and a personalized feeding plan.
Breastfeeding & Latch Support: Hands-on help with painful latching, positioning, and tongue-tie concerns.
Milk Supply Concerns: Support for low milk supply, oversupply, and maintaining milk production.
Weighted Feeds: Measure how much milk your baby transfers during breastfeeding.
Pumping Support: Pump education, flange sizing, and individualized pumping plans.
Bottle Feeding: Help with bottle introduction, bottle refusal, and paced feeding techniques.
Returning to Work & Weaning: Guidance for returning to work, adjusting feeding routines, and transitioning away from breastfeeding.

For eligible members, lactation consultations may be covered through your Perinatal Doula Benefits, rather than your standard lactation benefits.
Although these appointments are billed under your doula benefits, our visits focus specifically on lactation and infant feeding support, not labor or birth services.
Depending on your insurance plan and eligibility, you may have 9–11 covered perinatal visits. If you've already used some of these visits with another provider, lactation appointments with me will count toward your remaining benefits.
Insurance verification is handled through our billing partners, Loula or Raya, and may take up to 3 business days.
Sharp Health Plan requires a referral to its Maternal Mental Health Program before you can access your Perinatal Doula Benefits for lactation consultations.
During insurance verification, our office can help initiate this referral. Sharp Health Plan will then review your eligibility and determine whether you qualify for the program.
Once approved, your lactation appointments can be billed through your available Perinatal Doula Benefits.
All insurance coverage, eligibility, and available benefits are subject to verification before your appointment.
